== Combat Screen ==
* A = Autocombat
* C = Spellbook
** A = Adventure map spells tab
** C = Combat spells tab
** Arrows (← →) = Flip pages in the spellbook
** ESC / ENTER = Exit the spellbook
* D / Space = Defend
* F = Creature spell (e.g. with [[Faerie Dragon|Faerie Dragons]]){{-whd}}
* G = Area attack (with [[Gogs]] and [[Liches]]) / Creature spell (e.g. with [[Faerie Dragon|Faerie Dragons]]){{-wh}}
* H = Open Combat Log (press ESC, SPACE or ENTER to close it)
* I = Toggle hero stats
* L = Load game
* O = Combat options, which opens a separate menu:
** L = Load game
** M = Main Menu
** R = Restart scenario
** ESC / ENTER / SPACE = Exit Combat Options
* Q = Finish combat with Quick Combat
* R = Retreat
* S = Surrender
* T = Show current troop info (turned off by pressing ESC, ENTER or SPACE)
* W = Wait
* Z = Toggle on / off the turn order bar
* CTRL + Mouse-over creature = See general movement
* SHIFT + Mouse-over creature = See exact movement (calculate obstacles)
* ALT = Switch modes. Creatures can have one of the following types of modes: "''melee''" vs "''ranged''" for creatures that can shoot (such as [[Lizardman|Lizardmen]]), "''cast spell or use ability''" vs "''move or attack''" (for creatures that can cast spells or use abilities on corpses or terrain (such as [[Sandworm|Sandworms]], [[Archangel|Archangels]] or [[Dreadnought|Dreadnoughts]]), or "''attack and return''" vs "''attack without return''" (used exclusively by [[Harpies]] and [[Harpy Hags]]). 
* Up/Down Arrow Keys – Scrolls combat messages
* F6 = Toggles hex grid display
* F7 = Toggles mouse shadow display
* F8 = Toggles movement shadow display
