They give a bit more background to Jadame as a whole, for the reader, without being overwhelmingly explained (because they can be, and for such in-depth explanations should be other wikis). After all, the world is a whole, things become intertwined, and having the minimum to show that is fine. In fact, to me it sounds more silly if those regions are not there - they could mislead the reader into thinking that Jadame's only region is Ravage Roaming or something, leave them disappointed about what a boring continent Terra Nova is on and so on.
