Prison as seen on the adventure map. In a dazzling display of daring, you break into the local jail and free the hero imprisoned there, who, in return, pledges loyalty to your cause.

Prison is an adventure map object, that holds an imprisoned hero. When a hero visits the prison they will free the imprisoned hero who then joins the player, free of charge. If the player already has eight heroes outside of towns, the prisoner is not freed. After the imprisoned hero has been freed, the prison will disappear. The imprisoned hero can be set by a mapmaker or be chosen randomly. A random hero will have a default starting army.
On random maps the hero type in prison is randomised. If f.e. no hero from Rampart is available in the template settings, generator will try to generate prison, but it will not appear on the map. It will still count towards maximum number per zone. (pending for test)
Horn of the Abyss
An additional appearance was added, as well as a water version. When released from a water prison, the released hero appears in a boat.
Also added is the Hero Camp, which has identical gameplay to the prison but a different flavor text.
