The closest target to the initial target becomes the second target for the spell. This is the method for the spell to select all of its targets. If two targets are considered to be at equal distance, then the target is randomly chosen. However, it will only target a stack once. If the spell is [[Magic Resistance|resisted]] after it has already struck at least one target, it will continue arcing to the next target.
