Dessa the battle mage is a stronghold hero. Dessa starts with a spell book and the spell [[{{{spell}}}|{{{spell}}}]]. He starts with a spell book and knows the spell stone skin.

Biography

Nearly fifteen years ago, Dessa's entire village was wiped out in a massacre at the hands of human marauders. Dessa was one of six children who survived. Since then he has dreamed of one day paying back the humans for their crime.

Comments & debate

Like two other logistics specializing heroes Kyrre and Gunnar, Dessa cam travel adventure map faster than any normal hero. In fact, the logistics specialty is so powerful, that typically it is banned in multiplayer games. Battle mages are offered a good balance between pure strength and magical prowess, and if logistics specialty is not banned, Dessa is perhaps definetly one of most powerful heroes in Heroes of Might and Magic III.
