Hydras and Chaos Hydras are level 7 creatures of Fortress town. They are recruited from the Hydra Pond. Both hydras are multi-headed serpents attacking with vicious bites. They attack all adjacent enemy troops. The attack is so overwhelming that no retaliation is possible.

Placing Hydras (or any living Dragons) in the Skeleton Transformer will transform them into Bone Dragons instead of regular Skeletons.

Hydras have an AI Value of 4120, while Chaos Hydras have an AI Value of 5931.

Discussion

Neither Hydras nor Chaos Hydras have any immunities, and they are the slowest level 7 creatures in the game. But when the hero has expert teleport, the Hydras and Chaos Hydras are excellent as siege warfare; teleport them behind walls and the will wreak major havoc on enemy troops. Counterstrike is devastating if the enemy surrounds them; each time they attack or counterattack, they damage all enemy troops around them.
