Peasants are neutral creatures recruited from the hovel. Their cost is 10 Gold if recruited from the portal of summoning, but from the adventure map they are recruited for free. To know a peasant is to dread knowing a peasant. It seems the only hero eager to fight a peasant or have a peasant in their army ranks is the necromancer. They are typically used in skeleton transformers to gain skeletons. Additionally, they can be used in freelancer's guild to trade for resources.
