| | Because of Necromancy you usually have a ton of these, but their slowness makes them a pain to have with you. Upgrade them for better speed, and/or cast Haste on them. They can also be a prime target for Teleporting into the enemy's units. |

| | If you have Skeleton Warriors, and no empty army slots, you'll get Skeleton Warriors instead of skeletons from necromancy, but only 2/3 of normal numbers. |
| Skeletons and Skeleton Warriors are the level 1 creatures of Necropolis. They are recruited from the Cursed Temple. They can also be generated by Necromancy.

| Building the Unearthed Graves increases skeletons' growth by 6 per week.

| If all slots are occupied and you only have Skeleton Warriors in your army, then Necromancy will raise only 2/3 of the numbers of regular skeletons as Skeleton Warriors.

| *Galthran has skeletons as a specialty, which increases the Attack and Defense skills of any Skeletons or Skeleton Warriors for each level attained after 1st level and gives them a speed bonus of 1. | |
| With the necromancy secondary skill it is possible to "harvest" skeletons by attacking wandering creature stacks. If the hero has skeleton warriors and no empty slots, the necromancy will produce skeleton warriors to the hero's army, instead of normal skeletons, but only at 2/3rds the rate. Normally, it is more convenient to have regular skeletons and then upgrade them, since almost 50% more skeletons (2 skeleton warriors -> 3 regular skeletons) is worth more than the cost/convenience differential. A small downside of this is that regular skeletons slow your army due to lesser movement.
