Efreeti are among the game's most dangerous creatures. Whereas they can be slowed to be targeted by Ranged attackers, they are formidable offensive units. Being able to fly at a relatively high speed, in addition to the devastating fire shield and immunity to Blind makes these some of the most formidable 6th level creatures in Heroes III. Tip: If your hero has slow, it should be utilized on Efreet. Past that, you should try and soften or kill them with direct damage spells or ranged attackers, because the fire shield can inflict heavy losses, even to creature stacks far stronger.
