Variables

  • image_type= jpg, gif, etc. (default png)
  • u_image_type= jpg, gif, etc. (default png)
  • scenario= Scenario name
  • size= Size category (S, M, L, XL, H, XH, or G)
    • Size 1 (36×36) - S S (small)
    • Size 2 (72×72) - M M (medium)
    • Size 3 (108×108) - L L (large)
    • Size 4 (144×144) - XL XL (extra large)
    • Size 5 (180×180) - H H (huge)
    • Size 6 (216×216) - XH XH (extra huge)
    • Size 7 (252×252) - G G (gigantic)
  • no_underground= (you can just leave this blank: |no_underground=|)
    • Underground enabled (default if this var is not found)
    • Underground disabled
  • description= Scenario description text.
  • victory= Victory conditions. Existing icons, with default in bold:
    • Accumulate Creatures
    • Accumulate Resources
    • Acquire Artifact
    • Build a Grail Structure
    • Capture Town
    • Defeat All Enemies
    • Defeat All Monsters
    • Defeat Hero
    • Defeat Monster
    • Flag All Creature Dwellings
    • Flag All Mines
    • Survive Until Time Expires
    • Transport Artifact
    • Upgrade Town
  • loss= Loss conditions. Existing icons, with default in bold:
    • Lose All Your Towns and Heroes
    • Lose Hero
    • Lose Town
    • Time Expires
  • allies= list of allied colors. (There's always at least the player's own color.)
  • enemies= list of enemy colors. (This can actually be blank in some maps.)
  • bonus= the two or three available bonus items
  • difficulty= the default difficulty level for this map. Defaults to Hard, the middle level.
    • Difficulty 1: Easy - The player starts with a large advantage in resources, and the computer plays poorly. Easy
    • Difficulty 2: Normal - The player starts with a moderate advantage in resources, and the computer plays reasonably well. Normal
    • Difficulty 3: Hard - The player and the computer start with the same resources, and the computer plays to the best of its ability. Hard
    • Difficulty 4: Expert - The player starts with a handicap in resources, and the computer plays to the best of its ability. Expert
    • Difficulty 5: Impossible - The player starts with no resources, and the computer plays to the best of its ability. Impossible
