It destroys the target living troop in order to resurrect creatures from another stack back to life. This other stack must be receptive to resurrection spell.

- Firebirds/Phoenixes
- Undead
- Elementals
- Golems
- Stone/Obsidian Gargoyles
- Gold Dragons
- Black Dragons
Comments & debate
Typically, it is better to sacrifice a troop with many creatures than a troop with the same total health but fewer units.
A sacrificed stack does not leave a body to be resurrected or summoned into Demons.
