Elemental is a characteristic of a creature. It defines a group of creatures that share similar capabilities. All elementals:

are unaffected by morale, positive or negative
are immune to mind spells
cannot be a target of Resurrection spell.

Additionally, elementals are unaffected by following creature abilities:
