[[Castle]], [[Tower]] and [[Rampart]] heroes, who are considered as good alignment, can only sacrifice [[artifact]]s on the altar for [[experience]]. [[Inferno]], [[Necropolis]] and [[Dungeon]] heroes, who are considered as evil alignment, can only sacrifice [[creature]]s on the altar. And [[Stronghold]], [[Fortress]] and [[Conflux]] heroes can sacrifice both. The amount of experience gained from the sacrifice, is depend on either on the [[List of artifacts|artifact class]] or creature level.
