::and cmon, homm3 is our specialty here, 'daddy said' is not enough, our point is how exactly it works in the game. and in the game all the target level-influenced spells show us the neutral dragons are lvl 7 both in SoD and HotA. and 'random lvl 7 dwelling' map object issue can be explained just as a balance feature: sharpshooters'/enchanters' dwellings cannot emerge as a random 4/6 lvl dwelling either.--GroundhogYear (talk) 11:36, 5 March 2020 (UTC)

Gold Dragons
Pillar of Fire is an adventure map location, where a visiting hero can see "Distant Lands", as the description states. It means, that everything within a 20 square radius is revealed for the player. Even areas clouded by a Cover of Darkness will be revealed, though they will be overclouded again at the beginning of the next day. Pillar of Fire is basically an underground version of the Redwood Observatory, though it can be used above ground as well.

Found out what prevents Gold Dragons from being resurrected by Sacrifice: http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=39912&pagenumber=23. It's not a bug, but the way the spell is made: first, the sacrifice part is a level 5 spell, but the 2nd part is actually just a regular Resurrection spell. Also, the wiki looks awesome thanks to you :) (HC uses this wiki many times on the forum for references).--FirePaladin2 (talk) 23:48, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
Additionally, Observation Tower in hota has a similar effect.

Look: we could say Azure Dragons are level 7, but add a bracket that says "10", since it might have been the devs' original intention to make them level 10, but they just couldn't add the level in the code itself and mess up all spells and skills (if you were a programmer, you would know how sh*tty stuff like that is and that it's better to leave them as level 7 in the code itself, but still consider them to be level x). I'm not saying we should delete/replace the 7, or just put the dragons in separate categories because of that.--FirePaladin2 (talk) 15:11, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

Revision as of 05:32, 25 March 2020

You discover a tall gaslight tower. You light it, which produces enough light to penetrate the subterranean darkness.

Additionally, Observation Tower in Horn of the Abyss Horn of the Abyss has a similar effect.
