Expansions typically refers to official additions to the original game Heroes of Might and Magic III: Restoration of Erathia called Armageddon's Blade and Shadow of Death. They are the main expansion packs, and require the original game in order to work. Both includes new campaigns that continues the storyline of Restoration of Erathia. Sometimes Heroes Chronicles is considered to be an expansion, although it is more aimed as an introduction for beginners to the Heroes of Might and Magic -series. The Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete is a collection, that inculded the original Restoration of Erathia game and both expansions Armageddon's Blade and Shadow of Death.
