The '''Banshee''' was a cancelled [[creature]] planned for [[Restoration of Erathia]]. It resembles a flying skull with horns surrounded by a green aura. It received a 3D model render and was implemented into the game at one point, and was shown in a prerelease screenshot, but was removed before release. In the prerelease screenshot, it was depicted alongside [[Fortress]] units, suggesting it may have been associated with that [[town]]; if it were, it would seemingly have been replaced by either the [[Serpent Fly]] or [[Gorgon]], as all the other Fortress units appear alongside it.

Banshees have appeared in other ''Might and Magic'' games, but not with this design.
