Led by the Ironfist dynasty. Its unification under King [[Morglin Ironfist]] is the first of the [[Succession Wars]] and the setting for {{homm1}}. When Morglin died, it was thrown into the second of the [[Succession Wars]] (the setting for {{homm2}}).

During {{mm6}}, [[King Roland]] is captured by the [[Kreegan]]s and [[Queen Catherine]] returns to [[Erathia]] for her father's funeral (and the events of {{homm3}}: {{roe}}). [[Wilbur Humphrey]] rules as regent for Prince [[Nicolai]].

'''NOTE''': According to [[Antagarich#History of Erathia|History of Erathia]]{{-wll}}, the Ironfists have ruled Enroth since before [[The Silence]]. [[Gregory Fulton]] said this is likely an error. According to {{homm1}} / {{homm2}}, [[Morglin Ironfist]] became the ruler of Enroth in the ~1110s [[AS]].
