== History ==
Little is known about the history of Nighon.

During the war with Erathia in 1164 AS Nighon was allied with the [[Kreegan]]s, with their help they successfully captured [[Steadwick]]. But later their and Kreegan forces were defeated by Erathia and their allies.

While the various rulers of Nighon constantly clashed in internal struggles for supremacy as well as for expansion (such as the campaign against Erathia), the nation was a monarchy. 

Later on civil war broke out in Nighon. Mutare set out to unite the country under her scepter and largely succeeded after killing Ordwald. She then waged wars on the continent, which are described in the Heroes Chronicles [[Clash of the Dragons]] campaign. Shortly after her failures, she was killed by [[Dracon]].

Tarnum took over Nighon some time before [[The Reckoning]] in [[Sword of Frost]] campaign.
