{{PAGENAME}} does not appear in the story text of any campaign levels.

{{H4Story|Death Knight|Straker used to be a handsome man who sought to keep his looks by becoming immortal. But he was duped into serving a lich and in return was transformed into a zombie servant instead. Now, he takes out his hatred of his own reflection on the bodies of his enemies.}}

== Trivia ==
* {{PAGENAME}}'s name was suggested by [[Phil McCrum]] of the Astral Wizard website.
* The {{roe}} manual states that Straker is [[human]], with him clearly depicted like one of the undead in his portrait. His bio in ''Heroes IV'' mentions that he was turned into a zombie prior to becoming a death knight. There is apparently no retcon here, as zombie is not a race, or a higher form of [[undead]] like [[lich|liches]] and [[vampire|vampires]], but just reanimated people with their flesh mostly intact. The manual thus specifies that Straker was once a living human.
* The above makes Straker the only zombie hero in ''Heroes III''.
