Are Seamen really that underwhelming for tier 2 creatures? They are more similar to Battle Dwarves than to Zombies, both in stats, movement and cost per unit. Considering they are the only meaty unit for Cove until you can build Nixes should not be forgotten. Also I find speed 6 a lot more tolerable than speed 5 of Battle Dwarves, and incomparable to the 4 speed of Zombies. Seamen are more like the middle between Battle Dwarf and Wolf Raider in terms of tier 2 walker.
* I'm not an expert, but I guess by underwhelming the person who wrote it meant that they're by far not the best T2 unit, they're just sorta mid, you indeed can spend your gold better than going into upgrading them to Seamen (especially considering Sea Dogs can carry for a fair while). Speaking of Battle Dwarves, they aren't considered really a good unit as well, but they have magic resist at least, while Seamen don't, making the latter kinda a worse meatshield. - [[user:Olegmods.INC|Olegmods.INC]]
