The homeworld of [[Morglin Ironfist]] and the location of [[Ragnar Ironfist]]'s kingdom. Carried through the Void between the stars by an [[Ancient]] worldship called [[CRON]], which also houses four [[Elemental Planes]], along with a number different VARNs. [[VARN-4]] is the setting for {{mm1}}, the very first game in the ''Might and Magic'' franchise.

== VARNs ==
In general, VARNs (Vehicular Astropod Research Nacelle) are colossal spaceships created by the [[Ancients]] for the purpose of experimentation. These ships are essentially small worlds, with land, sky and sea. Housing people and creatures, they are sent out through space with the eventual goal of populating planets. The Ancients draw their power from the heat and light of stars to create these civilizations.

Enroth was seeded by the Ancients with one such ship, VARN MCMIV, during the [[Time of Wonders]]. The ship was implanted into the planet in what eventually became [[Dragonsand]], being "buried" under a structure called the Tomb of VARN. Along with colonists, it also brought the [[Oracle of Enroth]] to the planet. The Ancients intended for Enroth to be a perfect world for life, free of war and famine. However, the [[Day of Fire]] and the [[Silence]] brought about the fall of that prosperous civilization.

== Trivia ==
* The ruler of VARN-4 during the events of ''Might and Magic I'' is King Alamar. One of Morglin's rivals on Enroth is also called [[Alamar]].
