Preemptive Strike triggers when the White Tiger/Sabertooth is targeted by a melee attack in combat, retaliating against their attacker '''before''' the enemy has a chance to strike. There is a possibility that the whole attacking stack is killed by Preemptive Strike, therefore dealing no damage. White Tigers strike as aforementioned while Sabertooths also have the [[strikes twice]] ability, thus attacking once more after the enemy attacks.
