Editing Will-o-the-Wisp

The '''Will-o-the-Wisp''', also referred to in some fan sources as the '''Banshee''' or '''Demilich''', was a cancelled [[creature]] planned for [[Restoration of Erathia]]. It resembles a flying skull with horns surrounded by a green aura. It received a 3D model render and was implemented into the game at one point, and was shown in a prerelease screenshot, but was removed before release. It was intended as a [[Fortress]] unit, and was seemingly replaced by either the [[Serpent Fly]] or [[Gorgon]], as all the other Fortress units appear alongside it in the prerelease screenshot.

Enemies similar to the Will-o-the-Wisp have appeared in other ''Might and Magic'' games, but not with this design.
