In [[World on Fire]], Xarfax appears as a possessed Knight in the process of becoming a Heretic (under his [[Xarfax (World on Fire)|alternate profile]]). Prior to that, he served with [[Tavin]] in the [[Erathia]]n Border Guards for 15 years.

== Trivia ==
* He is unable to cast [[Fireball]] until he gains more spell points.
* Xarfax and [[Vey]] are the only two magic class heroes that start with [[Leadership]].
* His specialty icon uses a different picture than the spell [[Fireball]], based on an earlier version when the spell was called "Spontaneous Combustion". This was fixed in {{hota}}.
