Magic resistance refers to creatures' ability to resist spell effects. From Rampart creatures, dwarves have natural magic resistance against spells, whereas unicorns do not have a magic resistance themselves, but they create an aura of magic resistance that they project to adjacent hexes. In Shadow of Death, Crystal Dragons also posses magical restiance (20%).
