Chief Titipan Two-Tailed of the Bloodied Feathers led his tribe to betray the Couatls and sever their connection to their living gods. They slaughtered all the Couatls and smashed their eggs. In the days that followed, many died, unable to endure being separated from their lost gods. Chief Titipan led the tribe back to their ancestral home in the caves under the Blue Claw cliffs, where he perished.
