Dragon is creature type in Heroes of Might and Magic III. In Restoration of Erathia there is six different dragons:
- Rampart town has green dragons which are upgraded to gold dragons.
- Dungeon town has red dragons which are upgraded to black dragons.
- Necropolis town has bone dragons whic are upgraded to ghost dragons. Additionally, they are both undead creatures.
Armageddon's Blade expansion added four neutral dragons, which are also available in Shadow of Death:
Armageddon's Blade expansion added also Vial of Dragon Blood artifact, which increases attack and defense of dragons by 5. Dragons fighting in Mutare, Mutare Drake, or the Overlord incarnation of Tarnum also receives certain bonuses.
