Each Mighty Gorgon in a stack has a 10% chance to kill an extra enemy unit in addition to any killed by combat damage, but the stack is limited to a maximum of one extra kill per 10 or fewer Mighty Gorgons. For example, ten Mighty Gorgons can Death Stare one enemy unit at most; eleven Mighty Gorgons can Death Stare as many as two enemy units.

Death Stare has no effect on Stone or Obsidian Gargoyles, Golems, Elemental creatures, and Undead creatures. Black Dragons and other magic-resistant troops can be killed by Death Stare.
