When Liches/Power Liches attack an enemy unit, they also deal damage to all adjacent living units as well. Living units are all units except

• Undeads
• Elementals
• Stone/Iron/Gold/Diamond Golems
• Stone/Obsidian Gargoyles
• War Machines

This ability could potentially harm your own units. You can also target an enemy war machine with two enemy units standing next to it to harm both of those.
