Crypt is an Adventure Map location, and commonly known as one of the Creature Banks. It guarded by 50–70 Undead creatures, whose level varies from two to four. Better guards mean better reward. Treasure contains Gold on sometimes one treasure class Artifact.
As with all the Creature Banks, the combat arrangement is unusual where hero's troops are located in the middle of the Battlefield surrounded by the guards. Also, no War Machines are present in the combat. If the hero loses or flees from the battle, defeated guardians will not respawn.
Searching the Crypt after the guards have been defeated deacreses the Morale of the troops -1. The effect is not cumulative, meaning that visiting two Crypts will not give -2 to Morale.
