Terrain

There are 8 types of dry terrain in Heroes 3:

• Grass
• Dirt
• Lava
• Subterranean
• Rough
• Sand
• Snow
• Swamp

There's also solid Rock that isn't very interesting at all, and Water, but that's a chapter of it's own. There can be a layer of Magical Terrain over the normal one, though this most often only affects Combat.
