Death Knights are the might heroes of Necropolis.

"Death Knights are knights resurrected as liches. While they maintain their former martial learnings, their new forms open them more freely to the learning of magic." RoE manual

Death Knights are one of the two might classes that start with a Spell Book, the other being Alchemists.

As they are heroes of an evil town, this allows them to get experience on Altar of Sacrifice and in Grotto Horn of the Abyss for creatures only.

All Death Knights start with the secondary skill Necromancy. They cannot learn Leadership, Estates or First Aid, which means they can only acquire them from Witch Huts (if allowed), Scholars, Seer's Huts, Pandora's Boxes or Events.
