Double attack, or as phrased in the game menus strikes twice or shoots twice, is a creture's special ability, that enables it to attack same target twice in one combat round. If the target creature stack has a retaliation left, it will take place after the first attack. The second attack takes place immediately after that, and does not give enemy a chance to retaliate. In the following table are listed all the creatures wit double attack ability.
