Generally, Eagle Eye is considered one of the least desirable secondary skills, as the preferred ones are those which improve units' strength ([[Archery]], [[Armorer]], [[Offense]]), help in casting spells (various schools of magic), or make gameplay significantly easier ([[Diplomacy]], [[Logistics]], [[Tactics]]). However, it may help when it's impossible to get this or that spell from your town's [[Mage Guild]] (e.g. [[Bless]] in [[Inferno]], or [[Curse]] in [[Castle]] and [[Rampart]]). Alongside with advanced or expert [[Wisdom]], Expert Eagle Eye will be useful for [[Stronghold]] and [[Fortress]] heroes, since their Mage Guilds are limited to 3rd level, and learning [[Resurrection]] will be vital. The more towns is on the map, the less important Eagle Eye is, as different towns will provide different spells via Mage Guild. Eagle Eye is perhaps more useful for a supply/secondary hero than for the "number one". | |||
