The nation was founded by Rion Gryphonheart during his uprising against the Barbarian King [[Tarnum]]. The throne remained in the hands of the Gryphonheart dynasty until [[Catherine|Queen Catherine]] married [[Roland|Roland Ironfist]] of [[Enroth]]. Queen Catherine Ironfist(Gryphonheart) unfortunately stepped down as the Queen of Erathia during the final events of [[Armageddon's Blade (Campaign)|Armageddon's Blade]], therefore she no longer had authority to command her father's kingdom. Later, however, the throne fell to [[General Kendal|Gen. Morgan Kendal]], the highest General in Erathia and the commander of the [[Royal Erathian Millitary Command]]. after the murder of [[[King Nicolas Gryphonheart]]. The entirety of Erathia was ruled, commanded, and led by General Morgan Kendal, who later became a regent and was also the last ruler of the kingdom of Erathia.
