With a hero without navigation (only skill is Expert Scouting), up/down/left/right all cost 100 movement points.  Diagonals all cost 141.  However, on Favorable Winds up/down/left/right all cost 66, while diagonals cost 93.  With Basic Navigation, left/right/up/down still cost 66 and diagonals cost 93 (while on normal water it's 100/141).  I can't be bothered testing every direction any more, but Left is 66 with Advanced Navigation, diagonal up/right is 93.  Expert: Right = 66, up/right = 93 Ibraesil (talk) 04:58, 15 December 2015 (CET)

:That IS interesting! :D Anyway, someone else has also noticed the same. So the question is, how does it work excactly? Does it always reduce movement cost by 1/3? Does it still enhace Navigation skill? What is the formula for reductions? –Kapteeni Ruoska (talk) 06:50, 16 December 2015 (CET)
