You find a cave guarded by an ancient dragon. After a fierce battle, you slay him. Dragon blood supposedly has magical properties, so you carefully gather some in a vial.

Vial of Dragon Blood is a relic class artifact equipped in the misc slot.

Equipped in a Misc. slot, this powerful vial gives all dragons under your command +5 Attack and +5 Defense.

You cannot purchase relic artifacts in Artifact Merchants.

This artifact plays an important role in the Dragon's Blood and Clash of the Dragons campaigns.

+5 attack and +5 defence means that their attacks and defence are increased by 20%, effectively making your units 40% stronger. A stack of 14 dragons would be as strong as a stack with 10 dragons with this vial.
