From the text, it seems to be actually Finneas Vilmar. Maybe that's the name he assumed upon becoming king? Another possibility is that it was the king before Vilmar, and Archibald had a rather condensed version of the events which left him a bit confused about those (dead and to him irrelevant) former rulers.
