General/Ongoing
- Help clear the Maintenance Reports for unused/broken/wanted items!
- Check out and verify Did you know?#Unverified claims
- Look for pages that need help and report them here (e.g. unreadable color scheme, missing info)
Factory
- Go through the 1.7 changelog and commit all changes to the wiki
- Clear out Special:WantedFiles
- Go through all campaign scenario heroes (see Template:Campaign hero table)

- I've noticed there are a bunch of strategy/tips on https://mightandmagic.fandom.com/wiki/Tunnels_of_Ice. Should/Can we cite/copy that info here or leave a link to them?

By building a Portal in Summoning in both Dungeons and visiting the Frozen Cliffs, Tarnum can hire three azure dragons per week, if he can afford the price and doesn't capture any other dwellings. The seer's hut next to Tarnum's Dungeon will give the Everpouring Vial of Mercury to any hero that reaches level 28.
Research/Explain game concepts
- Breath Attack could use a diagram of how it works (specifically when attacking straight up or down)
- Obstacle Penalty could use a diagram or explanation of how it works. Is it everything inside the ring wall? Does obstacle penalty disappear when the wall goes down?

- Can scenarios have multiple loss conditions? Many campaign scenario descriptions are worded this way (e.g. Fall of Sandro). Is there a way to look this up in-game or in the map editor?
- Yes they do have multiple loss conditions, but using both the SoD and HotA map editor on Fall of Sandro, I can't find anything that causes this. Guess we'll have to look into it as to how it's done, but yes, some of the maps definitely have a couple of loss conditions. 01:39, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- Single scenarios: Add all the timed/object events like seen on the campaign scenarios.
- Now that we have a campaign map list (See List of campaign maps (HotA)) and have updated all the campaign level pages (e.g. Homecoming), the campaign pages (maps sections) themselves could use a facelift to match. (e.g. Long Live the Queen)

File upload/editing
- Upload all original (and HotA) images, preserving the names (as they are in the game data). For now we kind of have it started with the category:misc pictures. But it could probably be organized better (maybe call it the game data category instead). Once this is done, anyone who wants can browse these files and turn them into redirects for more appropriate names once a use for them is found in the wiki.

- The pics for Template:Cove unique buildings are a different size from all the other towns' unique buildings. Edit them to match.

- I don't know how Phasma was doing it but I just make screenshots in the map editor and then realign them all after. When I did that last big one I had to use cheat engine to change the zoom so that I could do it with fewer screenshots. And yes it's entirely possible there's an easier way. Possibly make use of heroesmaps.org/heroes3mapscan. –imahero 21:22, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
- I do just that: turn off all animations in map editor, take multiple screenshots, delete the unnecessary areas, align them in GIMP, save an original copy, and finally create a small copy for uploading here. I'm doing them over time since they take a while, and I've done all the small and medium maps so far. I'll do some more before the year ends too :) 12:47, 13 December 2023 (UTC)

Template work (advanced)
- Most of the the victory conditions should include 'or defeat all enemies'. Investigate and fix Template:Scenario, Template:ScenarioVars table and Template:CLevelsRow
Notes
- Use "#*" to add a comment to an item without breaking the numbering.
- Use <li value="your_number_here"></li> to restart a numeric list if there are breaks in between the numbers (e.g. comments).
