About templates
I am not sure, and I am sure you know more about templates than me, but could your problems with artifact templates be solved with Template: Empty? I am not entirely sure where would I need one, but I already created one. :) –Kapteeni Ruoska 16:53, 5 March 2014 (CET)
- Well, I'm learning everything now from the given Help:Contents here and searching by Google if can't find simple answer xD But sadly cant find fast answer with empty link tags like this [[ ]], have to put atleast one simbol to let it show the code correctly --HaxLi 17:04, 5 March 2014 (CET)
Comment about creature costs
There are probably more mistakses like the costs of Skeleton and Skeleton Warrior. As I can remember, there has been only few changes in the creature characteristics over the years from 3DO. One of the best has been the additional gems for Angels. –Kapteeni Ruoska 10:21, 21 March 2014 (CET)
Creature articles – together or separately?
Perhaps the first thing I did for this wiki was to unite basic and upgraded creature articles. For example, Pikeman and Halberdier became Pikeman/Halberdier, then Pikeman and halberdier and finally I am moving them to Pikeman and Halberdier. Now, I've begun to wonder if the merging was a good idea afterall. Of course there are some pros and cons in both choices. For example, one often needs the infromation about same level creatures simultaneously (IMO). But now with all the comparison options, like Castle creatures or List of creatures, I think that feature has become somewhat useless. The needed information can be found elsewhere if not from the combined creature page. What do you think? Should we sparate those articles again? –Kapteeni Ruoska 10:57, 28 March 2014 (CET)
- Oh, and this also brings up the questin, should the Creature Dwellings be two articles a piece (e.g. Gnoll Hut and Upgraded Gnoll Hut). –Kapteeni Ruoska 11:00, 28 March 2014 (CET)
- You did a great job in this wiki site. IMO those merged articles are logical and it is nice to see alike information in one place ;] --HaxLi 19:54, 28 March 2014 (CET)
- Furthermore I'd like to see dwellings and their creatures in one article (just not sure then what the page name should be). I don't see a point to separate similar things in separate pages. And wiki that way looks more simple for typical users.
I have noticed most users looks for Adventure map object here so would be a good idea to hurry those pictures upload. That's how I have found this page ;] Most other object info is pretty self explanatory in game --HaxLi 08:14, 29 March 2014 (CET)

- IMHO those pages names should be simplified.
e.g. Griffin and royal griffin redirected to -> Griffins (plural of the main creature) and put all info about them in that page (including dwellings with their pictures) ;] --HaxLi 09:57, 29 March 2014 (CET)

- I am not sure that simpler names for creature pages is a good idea. I agree, that the names are a bit difficult, but I do not see any difference moving them under simpler names, e.g. "Griffin and Royal Griffin" to just "Griffins". We would still have to use those directs to guide people to the right page, because people will search infromation with the word "griffin" or "royal griffin". The only thing that would make a difference, is that we would separate those to under their real names, which would eliminate the need of redirects.
- I see your point in uniting "Griffin and Royal Griffin" and "Griffin Tower" articles. They both contain information that are closely related. However, perhaps the solution could be to make town pages (e.g. Fortress town) the palce where all infromation comes together. Did you get what I meant? –Kapteeni Ruoska 11:37, 29 March 2014 (CET)
Adventure Map pictures
I could try to upload a bunch of those today or tomorrow (although I do not know what time zone you are in ;)). I animated some of those pictures, mainly those with something else than a smoke coming out of chimney. It is definetly not necessary, but somewhat fun. –Kapteeni Ruoska 11:37, 29 March 2014 (CET)
- Yes, animated gifs are osom. It's nice that you find time for that kind of fun ;] --HaxLi 16:19, 30 March 2014 (CEST)
