Hareck IX
Emperor of Regna during Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven. Regnan pirates speak highly of him, calling Hareck the best leader in the world. He is described as very down to earth, doing common work like the rest of his people. When they "collect taxes" on shipping, Hareck is often with them, boarding, fighting, cursing and drinking. He lets his Imperial Tax Collectors keep part of the booty. Hareck IX was the only emperor in the world as of 1165 AS.
Horn of the Abyss[edit | hide | hide all]
Hareck died sometime prior to 
Bidley obtaining the Horn of the Abyss. When he passed, his heir failed to step forward. A power struggle commenced among the pirates. During the turmoil, several captains had proved to be strong enough to seize the reign of vast territories, but chaos resumed once they perished or lost their edge. With the Horn, Bidley became the de-facto ruler of Regna, succeeding Hareck as the new Pirate King.
