=="New" Victory Conditions== The Special Victory Conditions ("Defeat All Monsters" and "Survive Until Time Expires") appear in the various Armageddon's Blade campaigns. These victory conditions, however, did not appear in the Armageddon's Blade Map Editor, but were instead added in the Horn of the Abyss Map Editor. * Defeat All Monsters ** Festival of Life - Taming of the Wild ** Playing with Fire - Farming Towns * Survive Until Time Expires ** Foolhardy Waywardness - Hurry Up and Wait Without using the HotA map editor, it is possible to make use of them by hacking the h3m file. The first step is to open the .h3m file in a gzip-compatible utility, such as 7-Zip, to get access to the raw, uncompressed scenario file. The victory condition for "defeat all monsters" has hex code <code>0B</code>, while the victory condition for "survive until time expires" has hex code <code>0C</code>. After the victory condition come two bytes that work as Boolean values, the first being whether the scenario can also be won "normally" by defeating all enemies, and the second being whether a computer player can win through this special victory condition. After these two bytes, for "survive until time expires", there is an additional three bytes that represent the amount of days, in little-Endian notation. After editing the file, it should be gzipped back to return to its normal .h3m form.
