===Alternative spell effects and sounds===
*The game contains alternative animations of [[Berserk]], [[Bless]], [[Curse]], [[Stone Skin]], [[Cure]], [[Dispel]], [[Forgetfulness]], [[Frost Ring]]. They're very similar to the final animations, just slightly slower coming up and fading out.
*Leftover sounds from HoMM2 for [[Armageddon]], Elemental Storm, Cold Ray, Cold Ring, [[Death Ripple]], [[Dragon Slayer]], [[Fireball]], [[Haste]], [[Magic Arrow]] and Mirror Image. Also unused sound from HoMM2 called PROTECT and Leftover sound of ending creature teleporting from HoMM1.
*Alternative [[Fire Shield]] sound
