She is not an original {{roe}} hero, but was added in {{ab}} and is also available in {{sod}}.

By default, Adrienne is not playable, but she may be enabled in custom scenarios in the map editor. 

== Story ==
Adrienne is the central character of the Playing with Fire campaign from [[Armageddon's Blade]]. Her role is centered around saving the swamps of [[Tatalia]] from the undead [[Lord Haart the Death Knight]].

The following biography appeared on the official (now-defunct) 3DO website: 

:<div style="font-style: italic;">Born near the outskirts of [[Tatalia]], Adrienne has always been fascinated by fire since she first saw it in a campfire. When a lightning strike from a thunderstorm started one of the largest 'swamp fires' in written history, the elders preached fire was a destroyer of nature. Adrienne knew different. Adrienne saw how the fire cleared the dead brush so life could begin anew. She knows fire is part of life's natural cycle, not something outside of nature.

:<div style="font-style: italic;">Studying to be a [[Witch]], and one of the nation's heroes, Adrienne learned the sanctioned schools of [[School of Earth Magic|earth]], [[School of Water Magic|water]], and [[School of Air Magic|air]] magic. When she inquired about fire, she was stifled and at times... punished. Then the [[Kreegan|devils]] fell from the sky.

:<div style="font-style: italic;">Though they were enemies of the state, they could teach her [[School of Fire Magic|fire magic]]. At fifteen years of age, Adrienne left Tatalia and went to [[Eeofol]] where she persuaded some of the clans to teach her what they knew. After two years of study, Adrienne learned fire magic. Adrienne also learned the consequence of elemental imbalance as seen in the hot barren lands of Eeofol. This imbalance was what her people feared... and practiced.

:<div style="font-style: italic;">With her curiosity satiated, and her tolerance of the devils was expended, Adrienne returned to the cool life-filled swamps of Tatalia as war broke out between Tatalia and [[Erathia]].

:<div style="font-style: italic;">Joining her countrymen on the battlefield, Adrienne proved to be 'necessary evil' as she utilized her fire magic to further Tatalia's war effort. In the end, Tatalia was driven back to its borders. People did not remember Adrienne's heroics. They remembered Tatalia was defeated, and Adrienne was a Fire Witch. Shunned for practicing Fire Magic, Adrienne refuses to leave her homeland and still roams the country's borders as a casual outlaw. Looking to help those in need, Adrienne can never go home again, but she will protect it to her dying breath.

Adrienne's specialty makes her the only hero that by default starts with an Expert secondary skill. It has no actual gameplay effect in term of that Expert Fire Magic can be removed from her starting skills by the map maker. If Fire Magic was removed and will be learned later by any means it will only be at Basic level.
