Although the Bank doesn't provide any extra gold in total, it can be used to get an immediate boost in order to afford key things, such as more creatures at the start of the week or a Castle or Capitol a turn earlier.

NOTE: The Bank in the game doesn't take percentages for a loan in purpose of the gameplay, unlike in real life.
