Great Shamans have a 20% chance to freeze a target unit for 3 rounds after attacking them at range. The frozen unit loses the ability to move and act, similar to the effects of {{Sn|Blind}}, and receives 25% more damage from attacks while it remains frozen. Once the frozen unit receives damage, the freezing effect is removed.

Shamans are quite sloggish but deal good damage. Great Shamans are even better, having a 20% chance to freeze a target, and being good at "crowd control". When having them, split them into as much stacks as possible. Of the 5 stacks, at least 1 Great Shaman stack often freezes someone. It's especially advised to freeze fast, [[flying]] units and [[shooter]]s, since [[Bulwark]] completely lacks [[flying]] units, while most of its units are sloggish, and thus won't reach them (especially, the [[shooter]]s) quickly.
