I have personally played warlocks many times and cannot remember ever being given the option to learn necromancy on level up. If you want to test this yourself, you could create a custom map with all the warlocks and use a repeatable event that gives a ton of experience. I vaguely remember some really old version of heroes 3 allowing witches (from swamp) to naturally learn necromancy. Never heard warlocks. Probably erathia. I don't think it was a bug though, it was just bad design. --[[Special:Contributions/86.19.34.39|86.19.34.39]] 22:59, 22 December 2018 (CET)

The thread on HeroesCommunity that is cited in this article is indeed an authoritative source on Necromancy, but the original post was later refined and corrected by other posters in that thread. I therefore rewrote most of this page in an attempt to make it shorter, more accurate, and better organized.

: Hello! No need to delete any comments. I believe it is one of the unwritten principles of wikipedias that comments and questions are not deleted unless someway offensive or otherwise inappropriate. But short answer to your question is ''nothing'', because that term is ivented by one of this wiki's users who is quite creative with his writings. The purpose is to have descriptions from the manual in those text boxes.
