OK, my apologies, resurrection works fine. I tested with 22 spell power and could resurrect both Crystal and Azure Dragons (no artifact needed). I didn't know this is how the resurrection mechanics worked. I guess what tripped me is that you can resurrect a creature with only a few hit points remaining. Anyway, I thank you greatly. --87.70.90.167 03:56, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
Guess the creators forgot to add error message to Resurrection spell and possibly to Animate Dead too. Archangels get "Archangels are not powerful enough to resurrect X" text in the message window if the dead creature had more HP than number of casting Archangels x 100 so you know why exactly you cannot do so. "This spell will affect no one!" is generalized error with several possible reasons. -Fafner (talk) 11:23, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

Living[edit | hide | hide all]

It has been mistakenly stated that Crystal Dragons are non-living creatures (e.g. AOH). Also, the game manual's description (above) suggests that they are made from inorganic material. However, Crystal Dragons are considered not to be non-living creatures like gargoyles nor are they golems. However, in the quest objective of the Dragon Slayer campaign is defeating a "Crystal Golem Dragon". In the video they state that they have succeeded in creating a dragon golem out of the finest crystal. As far as game mechanics are concerned they are considered to be living creatures.

Crystal generation ability[edit | hide]

What does the Crystal Generation ability do? Cid SilverWing

Crystal Dragon resurrection[edit | hide]

"Crystal Dragons can also be resurrected" - Not true. When some of my Crystal Dragons die and I cast the resurrection spell I get the "This spell will affect no one" (might be misquoting) message. I'm playing The Sword of Frost from the GoG release of "Heroes Chronicles: All Chapters". The same goes for Azure Dragons.

"The same goes for Azure Dragons." Obviously, there is an artifact or something else which does that. Unless Heroes Chronicles has slightly different mechanics, which I kinda doubt.--FirePaladin2 (talk) 17:20, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Well, you can't bring someone to life from the dead and leave them half-dead. Want to resurrect a Crystal Dragon? Make sure that your Resurrection spell will restore at least 800 points of health. And I believe there are still a pretty high number of not obvious mechanics and bugs, which you can't even imagine they exist.
It's just that I got used to the King's Bounty system for Resurrection, which was basically Healing (without the dispelling) but able to resurrect as well.--FirePaladin2 (talk) 18:49, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
