**** Precisely, since those with a unique portrait are the first "instance" of that hero and I think it should define them as a character. Both Complete Edition and HotA have these (General Kendal & Boyd being examples) and they also have many many instances of portraits being reused, which I think would clutter the first table of unique campaign heroes. Organization
Trying to decide how best to tackle this page. --Legate (talk) 16:28, 8 February 2024 (UTC) My current thoughts:
- Split this into 3 large tables: 1) Standard Heroes 2) Heroes available in Map Editor 3) Campaign Only Heroes.
- I saw you added a 4th table "Other Campaign Heroes". How does this differ from "Campaign Only Heroes?" --Legate (talk) 18:22, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
- I think it is just whether they have a unique portrait or not?

- Add a source column to show where the hero originated (See Template:Campaign hero table)
To Do
Heroes added for Hota v1.7.0- Missing HC heroes (e.g.
various flavors of Tarnum, whoever else appears in the campaigns)- This probably goes for heroes across all campaigns who don't have a unique portrait. I also notice they don't appear on Template:Campaign hero table...what do we want to do about that. Maybe make 2 tables like we have here? --Legate (talk) 19:00, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
- Figure out what to do about OG Catherine. Her portrait exists nowhere as far as I know. --Legate (talk) 19:00, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
- Fill in missing text for biographies.
