Erathia is the country around which most of the campaigns in Heroes 3 with expansions center. Ruled by Catherine Ironfist (Gryphonheart). Erathia is represented by Castles. Sometimes, Erathia is used for the continent the campaigns take place on as well, though most of the time it is referred to as Antagarich. The capital of Erathia is Steadwick.
The nation was founded by Rion Gryphonheart during his uprising against the Barbarian King Tarnum. The throne remained in the hands of the Gryphonheart dynasty until Queen Catherine married Roland Ironfist of Enroth.
